iansyst will be on stand SN05 of the SEN zone at BETT 2012 to showcase its latest developments in assistive technology for learners of all ages and abilities. It will be showcasing new products including a Higher Education dyslexia screening tool - helping to easily identify dyslexia through an online screening test and EB Wordbanks which enables users to create banks of words from a variety of sources. Also new to iansyst’s portfolio is Spellex for speech recognition– software providing specific dictionaries for use with speech recognition including medical, legal and professional. iansyst will also be on hand to discuss its latest innovative developments, including the proposed MyDocStore - an innovative concept addressing the missing link in creating and transferring accessible files between platforms -that are sure to have a huge impact on the future of assistive technology.
Visitors to the stand can see demonstrations of a variety of new products, as well as familiar tested products, such as dictation software, portable devices, literacy and numeracy software and text to speech software. iansyst staff will be on hand to provide expert advice on assistive technology for education and can recommend different products that are available to reflect a variety of requirements, highlighting the ways in which assistive technologies can be used to assist on a day to day basis in the classroom for all pupils as well as for those with SEN.
