Frog (www.frogtrade.com) promises its stand to be bigger and better than ever at BETT 2011. Frog will be at stand M50 again, and building on its success from previous years; the stand will focus on what Frog does best and feature its award-winning Secondary Learning Platform. In addition, Frog will be showcasing its new primary school product, Frog Primary, and its latest technological innovation, Frog Widgets.
With 14 live demonstration pods at the stand, being manned by a collection of Frog’s developers and designers, visitors can expect the same buzz and excitement as previous years - live demos of Frog’s Secondary Learning Platform, Frog Primary and Frog Widgets, as well as a whole host of giveaways. Teachers will be at the stand to explain to visitors the impact that Frog is having in their schools, motivating all involved and maximising learner success.
Frog Primary, the learning platform tailored to individual needs
Prompted by rising demand from primary schools, the Frog Primary learning platform has been specially designed in conjunction with Key Stage 1 and 2 teachers to develop cross-school communication and collaboration. Encouraging creativity in students, improving communication across the school and driving dialogue with parents, Frog Primary is an exciting, flexible and cost-effective learning platform for today’s primary schools.
Taking learning platforms one leap further
New to learning platforms, Frog Widgets allow users to personalise their own Frog Learning Platform. Students can populate their own web pages with a variety of functions such as a Google Widget to search the web without opening a new window and game-based learning widgets such as wordsearches to make the learner experience more interactive. The Frog Widgets can also integrate with third party software such as the Softlink Library System which allows students to renew books seamlessly from within Frog using one single log on.
Frog has doubled its market share in the last two years, making Frog the leading learning platform in the UK. Frog’s vision is to change the culture in schools and show how ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things, and now with over 600 schools in the UK using Frog, this vision is becoming a reality.
