Assistive technology specialist iansyst Ltd opens first Scottish office in Glasgow to help the 505,000 people with dyslexia in Scotland

Assistive technology specialist iansyst Ltd is opening its first Scottish Office in Glasgow on Thursday 22 October. Based in the Centrum Building in Glasgow city entre, the office will provide tailored advice and training on the latest hardware and software solutions for people with dyslexia and other disabilities including dyspraxia, dyscalculia, visual impairment and Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).

iansyst has over 26 years experience providing advice, consultancy services and a wide range of assistive technology solutions to help people with dyslexia and other disabilities, and is extending its expertise to help the half a million people with dyslexia in Scotland.

Based on Queen Street in the Centrum Business Centre, iansyst is open Monday to Friday with expert advisors on-hand to provide tailored and practical advice on assistive technology solutions for work, education and home use.
Individuals and students will benefit from the new centre which will provide student and academic staff drop-in services, training sessions, ergonomic assessments and fittings. Also on hand will be practical workplace advice for businesses delivered by iansyst’s ‘Re-adjust’ experts. Re-adjust focuses on the reasonable adjustments an employer can make to improve the working environment of its disabled employees.

iansyst is a registered supplier under the ‘One Stop Shop’ Service Level Agreement to provide equipment and services under the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA). This scheme is designed to help students in further and higher education. Customers can find out more information at www.dyslexic.com.
