Grid Club

Developer of interactive online learning resource aimed at 5-12 year olds that can be used in school and at home: it features learning activities and games supporting the National Curriculum and the Scottish 5-14 Guidelines.

CHALLENGE

  • To raise the profile of GridClub as a first class online learning resource where parents and teachers can rest assured their children will be safe.
  • To promote new games and activities.
  • To target Scottish schools in a bid to generate sales.
  • To increase subscriptions for home and school access.


TACTICS

  • Commenced significant reviews and reader offers programme.
  • Used topical news hooks to target national, regional, educational and parenting media.
  • Commenced executive profiling campaign to position Simon Fuller, MD, Grid Learning, as an expert in e-safety and online learning.


RESULTS

Within a seven month period Livewire secured:

  • Over 50 pieces of significant coverage, including feature articles, reviews and reader offers in The Guardian, TES and The Independent.
  • Significant coverage in key Scottish titles, including the TES Scotland.
  • Editorial meetings with seven high level education writers, including The Independent, The Guardian and the TES, using the meetings to position Simon Fuller MD as an authority on online safety.
